About
Sharif Asiri started ASIRI Designs in 2017 after seeing the same story repeat across the construction industry: new buildings — sometimes only a few years old — failing from mold, rot, moisture intrusion, and poor indoor air quality. Not because the builders were careless, but because the building science wasn't there.
He made it his mission to learn why buildings fail and how to prevent it. The firm now provides nationwide consulting on building envelope design, construction detail development, architectural plan reviews, and existing building assessments — with a focus on moisture management, air sealing, thermal performance, and indoor air quality. Over 150 published building science articles and weekly YouTube videos have made ASIRI a trusted resource for architects and builders working in high-performance construction.
